“Earthling” Project:
In collaboration with the SETI Institute and voices from all over the world, this project was sent into space as part of the “Peregrine” mission by the Space Agency Astrobotic in collaboration with NASA. It then landed on the Moon with the Odysseus lander in collaboration with SpaceX.
National Gugak Center Grant:
Winner of this prestigious grant in South Korea.

UNESCO Cultural Ambassador:
Appointed Cultural Ambassador of the “Global Network of Learning Cities” by UNESCO.

Best Music Award – Miami International Film Festival:
Won for the music in the film Amalgama by Carlos Cuarón.

Selected to work with the Victory Players ensemble.

“Career Path” Award (Premio Trayectoria):
Given by the National Society of Composers, Mexico, recognizing 25 years of successful and uninterrupted musical career.

National Performance Network Grant (USA):
Awarded for the project MXTX: A Cross-Cultural Exchange in collaboration with composer Graham Reynolds, The Golden Hornet Composers Lab, and Vortice Ensemble.
JPF Award (Just Plain Folks Music Awards):
Best Experimental Song for Red Antisocial, included in the album Flying with flutist Alejandro Escuer.

Betty J. Meyers Grant:
Given by America’s Research Network, Washington, for a composer residency in 2020.
Cultural Ambassador – Monte Xanic:
Appointed Cultural Ambassador of the prestigious Mexican premium wine brand.

Platinum Album – “Rock en tu Idioma Sinfónico”:
Awarded for 60,000 copies sold; contributed as musical director, arranger, and orchestral conductor. (Sony Music, Mexico).

To create new works for the Kronos Quartet, Tambuco Percussion Ensemble, and the Mexico City Philharmonic Orchestra.

Represented Mexico, with Red Antisocial selected for international radio broadcast.
